The Universal Astronomics Macrostar altitude-azimuth mount is a compact choice for solidly mounting giant binoculars. When combined with the #03227 Medium Bino Attachment, the 25-lb. capacity Microstar Basic can handle any of our 100mm and 110mm binoculars. We recommend using our Series 5000 Tripod or the high-end Bogen 028B video tripod with the Microstar, because of their geared adjustable-height center column. The adjustable guide handle is a highly recommended accessory.
