This is the new Series 5000 Tripod only, for customers who already have their own head or wish to use a parallelogram mount. Very similar to the expensive Bogen/Manfrotto 028B tripod. Fully extended height is 80 inches! This tripod is extremely well built of heavy aluminum tubing, with crank-adjustable center column and adjustable spreader for easy height adjustment. Features comfortable rubber grips on two of the three legs. The top plate of the tripod has a standard 3/8"-16 thread. Weighs 11 lbs., and has a weight capacity of 26 pounds / 11.8 kg (including the weight of the head or parallelogram mount). Comes with a nice padded carry bag and is covered by our 2-year warranty.
The optional Manfrotto 181B Auto-Dolly makes it easy to wheel the entire unit around an observatory, deck or garage.
