This is the fluid-type head from the Series 5000 tripod. This heavy-duty video head is fabricated from cast aluminum and features adjustable tension and extremely smooth operation. Includes a quick release plate with a standard 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded studs and dual rubber-padded pan handles. The head has a 17.6 pound (8 kg) capacity with an internal counter-balance spring to help offset the weight of heavier binoculars. Has a standard 3/8" threaded hole on the bottom that allows it to be connected to standard heavy-duty tripods.
