Brand new from Garrett Optical!
Due
to high demand, the Series 2000 Monopod is backordered. We recommend that you
place a backorder to secure a place in line (we don't collect payment
until your order ships), or email us and ask to be added to the notification list for this model.
Our new Series 2000 Grip-Action Monopod is designed around an extremely smooth continuously adjustable ball head. With a grip-action head, you gain 180 degrees of motion and can tilt your binocular to any altitude from
horizon to zenith, simply by squeezing the lever, and then letting go
to lock the head in place.
Specifically designed for use with our range of astronomical binoculars, this monopod can accommodate observers of virtually any size with a fully-extended height of 78 inches (that's right, 6 feet, 6 inches!) Better yet, this monopod is extremely well built of heavy aluminum tubing, while the ball head is sturdy cast aluminum. The rubber foot is designed with a rotating base that allows the monopod to be inclined to meet the users preferred observing attitude. Includes a quick release plate with a standard 1/4"-20 thread and a rubber-padded pan handle. Weighs just 4.5 lbs., and the head has an 8.8 pound (4 kg) capacity. Also works great for digital
SLR's and other cameras. Comes with a nice padded carry bag and is covered by our 2-year warranty.
Recommended for binoculars up to our Gemini 20x80 WP-IF model, although by its nature a monopod performs best with binoculars weighing 5-6 pounds and less.
Pricing: $80, or just $70 when purchased with a new binocular!
