The Orion Paragon-Plus XHD is essentially a more heavily-constructed version of the Paragon HD-F2 model. This tripod features an integrated pan head and quick-release plate, and height fully extended is 67 inches (about 70.75" when used with our L-adapter). Weight is 9 pounds. The tripod also features a convenient crank-adjustable center column that makes adjusting tripod height while panning around the sky a breeze. Capable of supporting up to the Gemini 20x80 TWP models. This is the most affordable medium-duty tripod we offer.
