Every Gemini big binocular features prisms polished from high-index BaK4 glass and our best-quality Broadband Multi-Coatings on every air-to-glass surface (including the prisms). A "slow focus" center focuser (with right diopter) provides for the precise adjustments necessary for astronomical observation. Every Garrett Optical binocular must pass a rigorous 14-point inspection that insures a high degree of both optical and mechanical performance, including accurate collimation. Any necessary adjustments are performed by a highly experienced technician on a U.S. Navy Mark V Collimator.
