Orion® 30x80 MegaView Astronomy Binocular

If you’re looking for the highest-magnification 80mm binocular available, look no further than the Orion® MegaView 30x80. It’s strong 30x magnification provides performance that can’t be matched by the more common 20x80 size of binocular. The only downside of the 30x magnification is a relatively small 2.7mm exit pupil, which means extended objects won’t appear as bright as they will in lower-magnification models. The 10x increase in magnification over 20x80’s does mean that much more detail is apparent when in astronomical targets, and the MegaView’s Japanese objectives are high enough quality to handle the additional magnification with ease.

The MegaView features sturdy all-aluminum construction with a built-in center brace and post for easy tripod mounting. Every optical surface, including the precisely-polished BaK4 prisms are fully multi-coated for outstanding image brightness. Center focus with right diopter adjustment and a generous 14mm of eye relief. Relatively light weight of 5.3 pounds. A hard carrying case is included.
